The Willamette Valley Christian (Brooks, OR) varsity volleyball team lost Saturday's home tournament match against Central Linn (Halsey, OR) by a score of 2-0.
The Central Linn Cobras topped the host Willamette Valley Christian Warriors volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cobras now have a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Linn Christian Academy for a 2A Valley Coast test on Tuesday, September 12. Central Linn will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Regis (Stayton, OR). The Eagles record now stands at 1-4.
The Warriors (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Falls City/Kings Valley Charter (Falls City, OR). The Mountaineers enter the 1A Casco test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Falls City/Kings Valley Charter was knocked off by St. Paul (St. Paul, OR), 3-0, in a league test.
