The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the DeSoto Central Jaguars (Southaven, MS) and the host Coffee County Central Red Raiders (Manchester, TN), saw DeSoto Central's volleyball squad nip Coffee County Central by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, DeSoto Central upgrades its record to 16-6 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Spain Park (Hoover, AL) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Spain Park won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Hewitt-Trussville (Trussville, AL)

The Red Raiders now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they host Franklin County for a AAA District 9 bout on Tuesday, September 12. Coffee County Central will play a Rebels squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lawrence County (Lawrenceburg, TN). The Rebels record now stands at 1-6.
