In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Mount Vernon Mustangs.

The Mustangs (9-18) will now prepare for their battle against Locust Grove (Locust Grove, GA). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 17-6 record. In their last battle, Locust Grove nudged Central Georgia Arts (Macon, GA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
