September 9, 2024: Abington, PA 19001 The Bensalem Fighting Owls football squad scored 14 points and limited the host Abington Galloping Ghosts to 12 in the Fighting Owls non-league triumph on Monday.
The Fighting Owls now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Quakertown for a non-league test on Monday, September 16. Bensalem will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 28-20 non-league win over North Penn (Lansdale, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Abington drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Galloping ghosts travel to Central Bucks West (Doylestown, PA) to meet the Bucks in a non-league test on Monday, September 16. The Bucks come into the test with a record of 0-0.
