Missouri High School Football - Platte County tops Grain Valley
September 9, 2024: Platte City, MO 64079 The Platte County Pirates football squad scored 34 points and limited the visiting Grain Valley Eagles to 12 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Monday.
The Pirates now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Fort Osage for a non-league test on Monday, September 16. Platte County will meet a Indians squad coming off a 32-8 non-league win over Belton (Belton, MO). The Indians record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Grain Valley drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Chrisman (Independence, MO) to meet the Bears in a non-league test on Monday, September 16. The Bears come into the test with a record of 1-1. Chrisman won 18-12 in their recent non-league test against Ruskin (Kansas City, MO)
