September 9, 2024: Renton, WA 98059 The Hazen Highlanders football squad scored 2 points and limited the visiting Liberty Patriots to 0 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Monday.
The Highlanders now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cedarcrest for a non-league test on Monday, September 16. Hazen will meet a Red Wolves squad coming off a 13-7 non-league loss to Marysville Getchell (Marysville, WA). The Red Wolves record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Liberty drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Mount Si (Snoqualmie, WA) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league test on Monday, September 16. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 1-1. Mount Si won 26-20 in their recent non-league test against Lake Washington (Kirkland, WA)
