The Independence Patriots soccer squad scored 4 points and held the host Porter Ridge Pirates to 1 in the Patriots non-league victory on Monday.

The Patriots now hold a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Providence for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 19. Independence will play a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Butler (Matthews, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 6-3.
