September 9, 2024: Greensboro, NC 27405 The Page Pirates (Greensboro, NC) volleyball held off the visiting Western Alamance Warriors (Elon, NC), 2-1 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Pirates now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Northern Guilford for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 10. Page will clash with a Nighthawks team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Nighthawks record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Western Alamance drops to 7-2 on the campaign. The Warriors host Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC) to clash with the Fighting Red Wolves in a bout on Tuesday, September 10. The Fighting Red Wolves come into the bout with a record of 2-6. Cedar Ridge lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC)
