September 9, 2024: Monroe, NC 28110 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC) and the visiting Ballantyne Ridge Wolves (Charlotte, NC), saw Sun Valley's soccer squad knock off Ballantyne Ridge by a count of 3-1.
The Spartans (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Carmel Christian (Matthews, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Carmel Christian by Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Wolves confront the North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, September 11. Ballantyne Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record.
