North Carolina High School Soccer - Broughton nudged by Heritage
September 9, 2024: Wake Forest, NC 27587 Heritage Huskies (Wake Forest, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Broughton Capitals (Raleigh, NC), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Heritage advances its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 11. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 2-4. Athens Drive won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Jordan (Durham, NC)
The Capitals now have a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Fuquay - Varina for a non-league test on Thursday, September 12. Broughton will clash with a Bengals team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC). The Bengals record now stands at 2-6.
