The Vikings now hold a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Montgomery Central for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 12. Union Pines will encounter a Timberwolves squad coming off a 9-0 non-league win over South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Timberwolves record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Lee County moves to 3-5 on the year. The Yellow jackets travel to Hoke County (Raeford, NC) to encounter the Bucks in a Sandhills 3A/4A challenge on Wednesday, September 11.
