Massachusetts High School Soccer - Lexington knocks off Wilmington
September 9, 2024: Lexington, MA 02421 Fans at Monday's league battle between the Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, MA) and the visiting Wilmington Wildcats (Wilmington, MA), saw Lexington's soccer squad triumph over Wilmington by a count of 5-0.
The Minutemen (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Westport (Westport, MA). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Westport tipped Holbrook (Holbrook, MA), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Wildcats battle the Stoneham Spartans (Stoneham, MA) in a Middlesex battle, on Thursday, September 12. Wilmington will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 0-2 record after their 5-0 league loss to Reading Memorial (Reading, MA).
