September 9, 2024: Leonardtown, MD 20650 The Northern Patriots (Owings, MD) soccer nipped the host St. Mary's Ryken Knights (Leonardtown, MD), 2-1 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Patriots now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Thomas Stone for a Southern Maryland challenge on Tuesday, September 10.
With the loss, St. Mary's Ryken moves to 2-2 on the year. The Knights host International High School at Largo (Largo, MD) to encounter the Sea Turtles in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 13. The Sea Turtles go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. International High School at Largo won 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD)
