Oklahoma High School Softball - Chisholm topped by Kingfisher
September 9, 2024: Kingfisher, OK 73750 Kingfisher Yellowjackets (Kingfisher, OK) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Chisholm Longhorns (Enid, OK), 9-1 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Kingfisher improves its record to 14-2 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Weatherford (Weatherford, OK) to play the Eagles in a 4A District 2 game on Tuesday, September 10. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 14-1. Weatherford won 8-1 in their recent non-league game against Mount St. Mary (Oklahoma City, OK)
The Longhorns now hold a 5-15 record. They play next when they travel to Blackwell for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 10. Chisholm will play a Maroons squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Tonkawa (Tonkawa, OK). The Maroons record now stands at 15-12.
