The Corvian Community Cardinals volleyball squad (Charlotte, NC), dropped 3-0 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC)

With the win, Porter Ridge improves its record to 5-3 on the season. The Pirates travel to Weddington (Matthews, NC) to encounter the Warriors in a Southern Carolina 4A battle on Tuesday, September 10. The Warriors go into the battle with a record of 12-3. Weddington won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Carmel Christian (Matthews, NC)

The Cardinals now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountain Island Charter for a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A battle on Tuesday, September 10. Corvian Community will encounter a Raptors squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Langtree Charter (Mooresville, NC). The Raptors record now stands at 1-7.
