September 9, 2024: Staunton, VA 24401 The James River Knights volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Riverheads Gladiators to 0 in the Knights non-league triumph on Monday.
The Knights now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Floyd County for a Three Rivers outing on Tuesday, September 10. James River will clash with a Buffaloes team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Pulaski County (Dublin, VA). The Buffaloes record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Riverheads drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Gladiators host Bath County (Hot Springs, VA) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 10.
