September 9, 2024: Mahwah, NJ 07430 In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Mahwah Thunderbirds volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Lakeland Regional Lancers.
The Thunderbirds (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against River Dell (Oradell, NJ). The Golden Hawks come into the Big North - Patriot challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, River Dell beat Dumont (Dumont, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lancers play the Fair Lawn Cutters (Fair Lawn, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 11. Lakeland Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Cutters come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Northern Highlands (Allendale, NJ).
