California High School Flag Football - Argonaut loses to Golden Valley
September 9, 2025: Jackson, CA 95642 Golden Valley Cougars (Merced, CA) followers went home pleased Tuesday as they saw their flag football team topple the host Argonaut Mustangs (Jackson, CA), 20-7 in a non-league match.
The Cougars (4-6) will now prepare for their match against Hughson (Hughson, CA). The Huskies enter the non-league match with a 6-3 record. In their last match, Hughson thwarted Gustine (Gustine, CA), 46-0, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Mustangs confront the Bradshaw Christian The Pride (Sacramento, CA) in a Sierra Valley Conference match, on Thursday, September 18.
