The crowd at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) and the host El Cajon Valley Braves (El Cajon, CA), witnessed Helix's flag football squad topple El Cajon Valley by a tally of 26-14.

The Highlanders (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA). The Lancers enter the non-league contest with a 11-2 record. In their last bout, Carlsbad overcame San Marcos (San Marcos, CA), 26-7, in a league bout.

The Braves now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Castle Park for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 11. El Cajon Valley will encounter a Trojans team coming off a 49-0 non-league win over Mar Vista (Imperial Beach, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 7-0.
