Maryland High School Soccer - Richard Montgomery knocks off Sherwood
September 9, 2025: Rockville, MD 20852 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Richard Montgomery Rockets soccer squad scored a tight 4-0 victory over the Sherwood Warriors.
The Rockets (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Churchill (Potomac, MD). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, Churchill got by Urbana (Ijamsville, MD), 3-2, in a non-league outing.
In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Clarksburg Coyotes (Clarksburg, MD) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 11. Sherwood will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Coyotes come into the test with a 3-0 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Blair (Silver Spring, MD).
