The Brighton Bulldogs triumphed over the visiting Mullen Mustangs softball squad by a count of 17-4 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverdale Ridge for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 18. Brighton will confront a Ravens team coming off a 8-4 non-league loss to Severance (Severance, CO). The Ravens record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Mullen moves to 1-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Denver East (Denver, CO) to meet the Angels in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 13. The Angels go into the challenge with a record of 1-2.
