September 9, 2025: Jerseyville, IL 62052 Jersey Panthers (Jerseyville, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Litchfield Purple Panthers (Litchfield, IL), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Jersey improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Southwestern (Piasa, IL) to face the Piasa Birds in a non-league test on Monday, September 15. The Piasa Birds go into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Purple Panthers now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hillsboro for a test on Thursday, September 11.
