Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Chestnut Ridge nudges Greater Johnstown
September 9, 2025: New Paris, PA 15554 In Tuesday's league outing, the host Chestnut Ridge Lions soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Greater Johnstown Trojans.
The Lions (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against Bishop Carroll (Ebensburg, PA). The Huskies go into the Laurel Highlands 1 test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Bishop Carroll was tipped by Somerset (Somerset, PA), 2-0, in a league test.
The Trojans now have a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Penn Cambria for a Laurel Highlands 1 outing on Thursday, September 11. Greater Johnstown will play a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-5.
