The Greenies (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Rabun Gap, GA). The Eagles enter the NCISAA Carolina battle with a 9-0 record. In their last battle, Rabun Gap-Nacoochee tipped Asheville Christian Academy (Swannanoa, NC), 9-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Panthers confront the East Henderson Eagles (East Flat Rock, NC) in a Mountain Eight 4A/5A battle, on Wednesday, September 10. Franklin will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 2-6 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC).
