September 9, 2025: Lafayette, IN 47909 The McCutcheon Mavericks soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting Kokomo Wildkats to 0 in the Mavericks non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Mavericks now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Lafayette Central Catholic for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 16. McCutcheon will clash with a Knights team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Benton Central (Oxford, IN). The Knights record now stands at 3-5.
The Wildkats (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Lafayette Jefferson (Lafayette, IN). The Bronchos come into the North Central game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Lafayette Jefferson was overwhelmed by Harrison (West Lafayette, IN), 5-1, in a non-league game.
