Maine High School Soccer - Leavitt nudges Winslow
September 9, 2025: Winslow, ME 04901 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Leavitt Hornets (Turner, ME) and the host Winslow Black Raiders (Winslow, ME), saw Leavitt's soccer squad hold off Winslow by a count of 1-0.
The Hornets (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Poland (Poland, ME). The Knights enter the Class B - South battle with a 0-1 record.
In their next game, the Black Raiders meet the Central Red Devils (East Corinth, ME) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 12. Winslow will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Red Devils come into the match with a 1-0 record after their 5-0 league win over George Stevens Academy (Blue Hill, ME).
