Texas High School Volleyball - Austin over Dripping Springs

The Austin Maroons volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Dripping Springs Tigers to 1 in the Maroons league triumph on Tuesday.

The Maroons now possess a 26-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bowie for a 6A Region IV District 26 outing on Friday, September 12. Austin will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-1 league win over Del Valle (Del Valle, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 20-12.

The Tigers (18-14) will now prepare for their match against Cornerstone Christian (San Antonio, TX). The Warriors enter the non-league match with a 19-3 record. In their last match, Cornerstone Christian gained a win over Gloria Deo Academy (Bulverde, TX), 2-0, in a non-league match.
