Spectators at Tuesday's league challenge between the Mendon Hornets (Mendon, MI) and the host Colon Magi (Colon, MI), witnessed Mendon's volleyball squad achieve victory over Colon by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Mendon improves its record to 12-1 on the season. The Hornets travel to Decatur (Decatur, MI) to face the Raiders in a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 7-1. Decatur won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against White Pigeon (White Pigeon, MI)

The Magi now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union City for a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. Colon will face a Chargers squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Concord (Concord, MI). The Chargers record now stands at 6-8.
