In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host New Trier Trevians volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Loyola Academy Ramblers.

The Trevians (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Deerfield (Deerfield, IL). The Warriors go into the Central Suburban test with a 5-6 record.

The Ramblers now own a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Laurence for a Girls Catholic (GCAC) test on Thursday, September 11. Loyola Academy will face a Vikings squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Stagg (Palos Hills, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 10-3.
