September 9, 2025: New London, IA 52645 Van Buren County Warriors (Keosauqua, IA) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host New London Tigers (New London, IA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Van Buren County advances its record to 4-2 on the season. The Warriors host Notre Dame (Burlington, IA) to face the Nikes in a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. The Nikes go into the test with a record of 11-2. Notre Dame won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against West Burlington (West Burlington, IA)
The Tigers now sport a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Central Lee for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 11. New London will play a Hawks team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Mediapolis (Mediapolis, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 5-3.
