September 9, 2025: Monticello, GA 31064 Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Trinity Prep Lions (Loganville, GA) and the host Piedmont Academy Cougars (Monticello, GA), saw Trinity Prep's volleyball squad notch a victory over Piedmont Academy by a score of 3-1.
With the win, Trinity Prep improves its record to 14-3 on the season. The Lions travel to Providence Classical Christian (Oxford, GA) to encounter the Warriors in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 11. The Warriors go into the battle with a record of 3-3. Providence Classical Christian won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Academe of the Oaks (Decatur, GA)
The Cougars now own a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount de Sales Academy for a GIAA 6AAA contest on Thursday, September 11. Piedmont Academy will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 3-2 league loss to First Presbyterian Day (Macon, GA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 8-7.
