September 9, 2025: Sunnyside, WA 98944 Prosser Mustangs (Prosser, WA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Sunnyside Grizzlies (Sunnyside, WA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Prosser upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Othello (Othello, WA) to meet the Huskies in a 2A CWAC challenge on Thursday, September 11. The Huskies enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. Othello lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Moses Lake (Moses Lake, WA)
Next, the Grizzlies face the Moses Lake Mavericks (Moses Lake, WA) in a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 test, on Thursday, September 11. Sunnyside will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Mavericks go into the test with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Othello (Othello, WA).
