With the win, Redeemer Christian School improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Eagles host Puget Sound Adventist (Kirkland, WA) to encounter the Sharks in a 1B/2B Sea-Tac battle on Tuesday, September 16. The Sharks enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
Next, the Lions meet the Concordia Christian Academy Hawks (Tacoma, WA) in a 1B/2B Sea-Tac challenge, on Wednesday, September 10. Northwest Yeshiva will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Chief Leschi (Puyallup, WA).
Match Summary
The Lady Eagles won decisively in three sets with a collective thirty-one aces. Senior Reagan Lally notched eighteen aces and sophomore Kaitlyn Eaton added another eight. Freshman Elise Gokey nailed another three while senior Leann D'Ambrosio and junior Macie Terhune added another each. RCS also tallied a collective nine kills: D'Ambrosio with three, Lally and Eaton with two each, senior Nola Russel and freshman Camryn Caster also each added one to the mix. Eaton tallied four assists and Lally two. Lally also came up with a block. All around it was a solid first match for a team that lost seven seniors after the 2024 season but showed a strong start with the freshly remixed squad.
