Rock Hills Grizzlies (Mankato, KS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Thunder Ridge Longhorns (Kensington, KS), 2-0 in a league challenge.

The Grizzlies (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Solomon (Solomon, KS). The Gorillas enter the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Solomon was beaten by Rural Vista [Hope/White City] (Hope, KS), 2-0, in a league test.

The Longhorns now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Osborne for a Northern Plains test on Tuesday, September 9. Thunder Ridge will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Lakeside (Downs, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-2.
