September 9, 2025: St. Francis, MN 55070 In Tuesday's league bout, the Zimmerman Thunder (Zimmerman, MN) volleyball team knocked off the host St. Francis Fighting Saints (St. Francis, MN), by a margin of 3-1.
The Thunder now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Stewartville for a non-league bout on Friday, September 12. Zimmerman will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Zumbrota, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 7-1.
With the loss, St. Francis drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Fighting saints travel to Apollo (St. Cloud, MN) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, September 15. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 0-6.
