The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the St. Pius X Panthers (Houston, TX) and the visiting Bishop Lynch Friars (Dallas, TX), observed St. Pius X's football squad edge Bishop Lynch by a count of 17-13.

The Panthers now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Concordia Lutheran for a TAPPS Division I District 2 contest on Friday, September 24.
