In Friday's league game, the South Forsyth War Eagles (Cumming, GA) football team knocked off the host Central Gwinnett Black Knights (Lawrenceville, GA), by a final score of 30-7.

The War Eagles (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Lambert (Suwanee, GA). The Longhorns come into the AAAAAAA Region 6 game with a 4-0 record. In their last game, Lambert toppled Duluth (Duluth, GA), 39-12, in a non-league game.

The Black Knights now hold a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Buford for a AAAAAA Region 8 game on Friday, September 24.
