Ohio High School Football - Chardon knocks off Riverside

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Chardon Hilltoppers (Chardon, OH) and the visiting Riverside Beavers (Painesville, OH), observed Chardon's football squad thwart Riverside by a count of 28-7.

The Hilltoppers now own a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Mayfield for a Western Reserve contest on Friday, September 17. Chardon will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 40-10 non-league loss to Columbian (Tiffin, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-4.

Coming up next, the Beavers play the Madison Blue Streaks (Madison, OH) in a Western Reserve contest, on Friday, September 17. Riverside will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Blue Streaks go into the contest with a 0-4 record after their 41-14 league loss to South (Willoughby, OH).
