The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Lake Taylor Titans (Norfolk, VA) and the host Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC), observed Lake Taylor's football squad thwart Currituck County by a tally of 53-35.

The Titans now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Norview for a Eastern contest on Friday, September 17. Lake Taylor will play a Pilots squad coming off a 28-22 non-league win over Holmes (Edenton, NC). The Pilots record now stands at 2-0.

Coming up next, the Knights play the Hertford County Bears (Ahoskie, NC) in a 2A/3A East Conference 15 contest, on Friday, September 17.
