September 10, 2021: Islip, NY 11751 The East Islip Redmen football squad scored 54 points and restricted the host Islip Buccaneers to 14 in the Redmen league victory on Friday.
The Redmen now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westhampton Beach for a Section 11 Division III battle on Friday, September 17. East Islip will face a Hurricanes squad coming off a 21-6 league loss to Kings Park (Kings Park, NY). The Hurricanes record now stands at 0-1.
Coming up next, the Buccaneers face the Half Hollow Hills West Colts (Dix Hills, NY) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 18. Islip will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Colts enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 20-7 league loss to Deer Park (Deer Park, NY).
