The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Valparaiso Vikings (Valparaiso, IN) and the visiting Michigan City Wolves (Michigan City, IN), observed Valparaiso's football squad defeat Michigan City by a count of 49-28.

The Vikings now own a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Chesterton for a Duneland contest on Friday, September 17. Valparaiso will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 42-6 league win over La Porte (La Porte, IN). The Trojans record now stands at 4-0.

Coming up next, the Wolves encounter the Merrillville Pirates (Merrillville, IN) in a Duneland contest, on Friday, September 17. Michigan City will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
