Arizona High School Football - South Mountain held off by Sunnyside

In Friday's non-league game, the Sunnyside Blue Devils (Tucson, AZ) football team tipped the host South Mountain Jaguars (Phoenix, AZ), by a final score of 20-14.

The Blue Devils (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Paradise Valley (Phoenix, AZ). The Trojans come into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Paradise Valley was tipped by Westwood (Mesa, AZ), 55-12, in a non-league game.

The Jaguars now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tucson High Magnet School for a non-league game on Friday, September 17. South Mountain will battle a Badgers team coming off a 28-20 non-league loss to Maricopa (Maricopa, AZ). The Badgers record now stands at 0-1.
