September 10, 2021: Taylorsville, NC 28681 Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Cougars clash with the Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 16. Alexander Central will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record.
With the loss, Hickory drops to 6-3 on the campaign. The Red tornadoes travel to West Iredell (Statesville, NC) to clash with the Warriors in a match on Monday, September 13. The Warriors come into the match with a record of 0-1. West Iredell lost 2-0 in their recent non-league match against South Iredell (Statesville, NC)
