September 10, 2022: Lynn, MA 01902 St. Mary's Spartans (Lynn, MA) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Lynn Classical Rams (Lynn, MA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Spartans confront the Archbishop Williams Bishops (Braintree, MA) in a Catholic Central - Large challenge, on Monday, September 12. St. Mary's will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Bishops enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Rockland (Rockland, MA).
The Rams now possess a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Revere for a Northeastern - Small challenge on Tuesday, September 13. Lynn Classical will confront a Patriots team coming off a 2-2 non-league Somerville (Somerville, MA). The Patriots record now stands at 1-2.
