September 10, 2022: La Palma, CA 90623 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Valley Christian Defenders (Cerritos, CA) and the host Kennedy Fighting Irish (La Palma, CA), saw Valley Christian's volleyball squad beat Kennedy by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Valley Christian upgrades its record to 13-1 on the year. The Defenders travel to Village Christian (Sun Valley, CA) to play the Crusaders in a bout on Wednesday, September 14. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 0-2.
The Fighting Irish now own a 2-1 record.
