September 10, 2022: Sarasota, FL 34237 The Sickles Gryphons held off the host Sarasota Sailors volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Gryphons now have a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Keswick Christian for a non-league test on Saturday, September 10. Sickles will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Tampa Bay HEAT (Brandon, FL). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-5.
The Sailors (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Saint Stephen's Episcopal (Bradenton, FL). The Falcons enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Saint Stephen's Episcopal was nudged by Gulf Coast HEAT (Sarasota, FL), 2-1, in a league test.
