September 10, 2022: Mt. Sterling, KY 40353 Montgomery County Indians (Mt. Sterling, KY) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Boyle County Rebels (Danville, KY), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Indians confront the Bourbon County Colonels (Paris, KY) in a District 39 challenge, on Tuesday, September 13. Montgomery County will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record. The Colonels enter the challenge with a 8-2 record after their 4-4 non-league Danville (Danville, KY).
The Rebels now have a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln County for a District 45 challenge on Tuesday, September 13. Boyle County will confront a Patriots team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Danville (Danville, KY). The Patriots record now stands at 5-4.
