September 10, 2022: Chittenango, NY 13037 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Chittenango Bears (Chittenango, NY) and the visiting Mt. Markham Mustangs (West Winfield, NY), saw Chittenango's soccer squad get by Mt. Markham by a count of 2-1.
The Bears now hold a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Christian Brothers Academy for a OHSL - Liberty American outing on Thursday, September 15. Chittenango will battle a Brothers team coming off a 1-1 non-league Skaneateles (Skaneateles, NY). The Brothers record now stands at 4-0.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Waterville Indians (Waterville, NY) in a CSC Division III outing, on Wednesday, September 14. Mt. Markham will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
