Kentucky High School Soccer - Cincinnati Country Day trounced by Covington Catholic
September 10, 2022: Park Hills, KY 41011 In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Covington Catholic Colonels soccer squad scored a close 6-0 win over the Cincinnati Country Day Nighthawks.
The Colonels (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against Beechwood (Fort Mitchell, KY). The Tigers go into the District 35 battle with a 5-6 record. In their last battle, Beechwood was overwhelmed by Campbell County (Alexandria, KY), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
The Nighthawks (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Roger Bacon (Cincinnati, OH). The Spartans go into the Miami Valley Conf battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Roger Bacon nipped Clinton-Massie (Clarksville, OH), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
