Connecticut High School Soccer - Nonnewaug knocks off Wamogo
September 10, 2022: Litchfield, CT 06759 Nonnewaug Chiefs (Woodbury, CT) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Wamogo Warriors (Litchfield, CT), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Chiefs face the Terryville Kangaroos (Terryville, CT) in a Berkshire challenge, on Tuesday, September 13. Nonnewaug will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Kangaroos enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Housatonic-Wamogo (Falls Village, CT).
The Warriors now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Thomaston for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 13. Wamogo will face a Bears team coming off a 4-3 league win over Northwestern Regional (Winsted, CT). The Bears record now stands at 1-1.
